Border Security Specialist

As a Customs and Border Protection Officer, you will play a critical role in safeguarding America's borders. You will be part of an elite team responsible for enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws.

• Safeguard our nation by identifying potential threats to national security.


• Conduct inspections of individuals and conveyances to ensure compliance with regulations.


• Determine the admissibility of individuals seeking entry into the United States.


• Enforce laws related to importing and exporting merchandise while preventing smuggling activities.  

Successful completion of this position requires effective communication skills as well as physical stamina . Candidates must pass rigorous training programs at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC).
