Senior Full Stack TypeScript Engineer | Once a week near Bath (flexible) | Up to £65k Would you like your day job to genuinely improve the lives of underrepresented communities? These opportunities don't come around too often - I'm working with a community-driven Tech4Good organisation in the Southwest that delivers a truly impactful service to people who need it most. They're a small, mission-led team with big ambitions, and they're now looking to add a Senior Full Stack TypeScript Engineer to help modernise their product and build out new functionality as they scale. You'll be joining at a pivotal stage. With a lean team, your voice will be heard and your work will directly influence the direction of the platform. This isn't a role where you'll be a small cog in a huge machine - you'll take ownership of sizeable features and play a key part in shaping architecture and best practice. They're looking for someone confident across the TypeScript stack (Node.js & React) who feels comfortable working full stack. You might already be operating at Senior level, or you could be a high-end Mid-Level Engineer ready to step up into a role with more ownership and impact. If you're motivated by meaningful work, enjoy improving and evolving products, and want to be part of a purpose-driven team, this could be a brilliant next move. What you'll need Strong experience across the TypeScript stack (Node.js & React) Confidence managing sizeable features end-to-end Solid understanding of architecture and good development practices Comfortable working full stack, with the ability to lean backend or frontend Experience in (or enthusiasm for) small, collaborative teams A genuine desire to build products that have a positive social impact Willingness to work on a hybrid basis with once-a-week visits to the Bath area (with flexibility either side!)
