Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for both employees and visitors. If you have experience in commercial cleaning and facilities maintenance, we encourage you to apply. Clinic, hospital or hotel cleaning experience preferred
Duties
- This is a evening position Monday-Friday 5 pm until 10 pm
- Perform routine cleaning of all areas within the facility, including offices, restrooms, kitchens and common areas.
- Maintain cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, wiping off surface and dusting as needed.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used properly and safely.
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
- Report any repairs or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning, clinic, hospital or hotel cleaning is strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of basic facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
