We are looking for a standards developer who understands system structuring, documentation control, and professional engineering deliverables in the United States.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
You MUST have:
Proven experience developing full CAD or Revit templates for engineering firms
Deep knowledge of U.S. documentation standards
Experience with commercial permit sets
Understanding of National CAD Standard (NCS) preferred
Strong understanding of layer naming, plotting standards, and documentation hierarchy
Ability to structure scalable templates for future growth
If you cannot demonstrate prior template development work, do not apply.
SCOPE OF WORK
Deliverables shall include:
Master AutoCAD (.dwt) and/or Revit (.rte) template
Layer naming convention (structured and logical)
Lineweight and plotting standards (CTB/STB or Revit equivalents)
Title block system
Sheet numbering format
Symbol and legend library (MEP + Arch + Structural)
Annotation and tagging standards
Detail library structure
Schedule formatting standards
PDF plotting workflow documentation
The final product must be clean, professional, scalable, and aligned with U.S. commercial engineering practice.

You are primarily a production drafter
You do not understand U.S. engineering documentation
You cannot explain how to structure a layered CAD system
You have never built a professional template from scratch
You cannot provide real examples of past work

We are building a long-term standard for a growing engineering firm. We are looking for quality, structure, and professionalism — not cheap drafting.
Contract duration of 1 to 3 months. with 30 hours per week.
Mandatory skills: Autodesk AutoCAD, Drafting, Building Information Modeling, Autodesk Revit, Architectural Design
