Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Compliance Program Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for driving cross-functional initiatives related to risk management, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, a collaborative mindset, and experience working with both internal and external stakeholders in high-impact environments. This is a permanent position, located at our offices in Mile End, H2T 2A4.
Responsibilities
Stakeholder Collaboration
Coordinate with external stakeholders including legal counsel, the Board of Directors, and the compliance team to ensure alignment on risk and regulatory requirements.
Support internal stakeholders across clinical leadership, product, revenue cycle management (RCM), and patient relations to integrate compliance considerations into day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives. Project Management
Assist with ongoing risk assessments to identify compliance gaps and operational vulnerabilities.
Coordinate key compliance and risk-related projects, including:
Internal and external auditing programs.
Incident investigations and root cause analyses.
Operationalization of new policies and updates driven by changes in laws and regulations.
Maintaining timelines, assign responsibilities, and track progress to ensure timely delivery and measurable outcomes.
Execute based on prioritized tasks and initiatives based on a structured evaluation of risk, business impact, and implementation effort.
Provide regular reports and updates to leadership and stakeholders on project status, risk indicators, and audit outcomes.
Collaborate with the Legal Department to execute assigned projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with regulatory and legal requirements. Skills / Qualifications Required
1+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or healthcare operations.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and manage multiple priorities.
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, CMS, DEA).
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills (see Language Requirements below).
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Ability to comfortably work in English.
Proficient with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite or related softwares.
