About
The Manager, Technology Asset Management leads the management of technology assets (hardware, software, and selected operational technology), ensuring our procurement and compliance obligations are met, and cost/value are optimized. The role owns the day-to-day ITAM practice, governs core processes in ServiceNow, and partners closely with Finance, Procurement, and Technology delivery teams.
What you'll do
Strategy & Governance
Operate the IT Asset Management practice in alignment with corporate IT Asset Management and SACM policies.
Define and maintain the data requirements for AMDB/CMDB records.
Ensure every asset has a clearly documented owner and is governed per enterprise standards and requirements.
Process & Platform Ownership
Own IT Asset Management process design and execution in ServiceNow.
Establish and run data health controls, reconciliations, and periodic audits.
Coordinate integrations with discovery/inventory sources and identity/device enrollment systems.
Govern software license position and compliance.
Leverage approved SAM tooling and discovery data to produce compliance reports and cost-optimization recommendations.
Govern asset intake, tagging, moves/adds/changes, and stock/in-use states.
Lead the hardware disposal program, ensuring approved vendor use and complete documentation.
Prepare for and support internal/external audits; maintain evidence and remediation plans.
Provide authoritative asset data to support renewals, budgeting, and cost-savings tracking.
Contribute ITAM insights to contract negotiations and technology governance.
Publish operational dashboards and management reports for leadership.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of ITAM analysts.
What you bring
7+ years in IT Asset Management/SACM with 2+ years in a leadership role operating a ServiceNow or similar asset management systems.
Deep knowledge of ITAM/SACM policy, controls, and governance.
Hands-on expertise with ServiceNow ITAM/SAM/CMDB and discovery/inventory sources.
Proven ability to manage hardware disposal programs and complete compliance documentation.
Experience with enterprise SAM optimization programs and license compliance tooling is an asset.
ITIL 4, ServiceNow CIS-SAM or CIS-CMDB certifications are an asset.

Our typical hiring range is between $89,000.00 and $131,000.00 per annum. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
