Department: The Faculty of Hospitality and Horticultural Science (The Barrett
Centre)
Hours: 35 hours per week (1) one hour lunch; Mon – Fri (8:30 am – 4:30 pm; with
advanced notice, evenings and weekends may be required)
Reporting To: Barrett Centre – Partnerships Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Barrett Centre
Events & Projects Coordinator will support the Barrett Centre's goal to
increase its community engagement regionally, provincially, nationally, and
globally. The responsibilities include:
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a 3-year diploma or degree in Business Administration, Communications & Marketing, Urban Agriculture, Project Management, or General - BA.
- A minimum of 2 years of work experience in coordinating programming & community engagement, coordinating with external stakeholders to implement specific programming and/or events and marketing and communications (including social media).
- A minimum of 1 year of work experience with a member/customer relationship management platform (CRM) and/or community portal, and/or Learning Management Systems (LMS)
