Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, and ensuring smooth shift transitions.
- Lead and motivate a diverse team of servers, cooks, and support staff through effective training, coaching, and development initiatives.
- Oversee food preparation processes to ensure quality standards are met consistently across all menu items.
- Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using QSS POS, including cash handling and reconciliation.
- Enforce food safety protocols and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.
- Coordinate with kitchen management to streamline food production, catering services, and special event setups like banquets.
- Supervise customer service delivery to guarantee guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
- Monitor budget adherence and implement cost-control measures without compromising quality or service standards.
- Conduct interviews and participate in hiring processes to build a skilled and motivated team aligned with the restaurant's values.
Skills
- Extensive experience in food industry management with a strong background in restaurant operations, including casual dining, fine dining, or quick service environments.
- Proven leadership skills with experience supervising teams in hospitality or food service settings.
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques, culinary processes, and kitchen management practices.
- Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, food safety regulations, and sanitation standards.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively through shift management and team coordination.
- Experience with budgeting, cost control, staff training & development, and food handling procedures.
