Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will excel in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests while efficiently preparing and serving beverages. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a strong understanding of food and beverage safety standards, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued. The Bartender will play a key role in ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience, contributing to the overall success of our establishment.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently, adhering to recipes and presentation standards
  • Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Use POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry, billing, and cash handling
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies
  • Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with alcohol laws
  • Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
  • Follow food safety protocols during food handling and serving processes
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, balancing registers at the end of shifts
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate serving food and beverages when necessary
  • Uphold all health regulations related to food service, including proper sanitation practices

Skills

  • Proven experience in a restaurant or food industry setting, especially in bartending or serving roles
  • Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS for cashiering and order management
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing tabs accurately
  • Ability to work effectively in a hospitality environment while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Strong communication skills to interact clearly with guests and team members
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
