Role Overview
The Marketing Operations Coordinator is the operational backbone of Brodie League's registration marketing machine.
You own the day-to-day execution that converts thousands of athletes each season - managing email campaigns, automated workflows, web portal updates, and registration communications across 22+ markets. Your precision ensures registration cycles run smoothly, automations trigger correctly, and no athlete falls through the cracks.
This role is execution-first. You are responsible for consistency, accuracy, and operational excellence, allowing creative and strategy teams to move faster with confidence.
Your mission: ensure Brodie League's registration engine runs flawlessly, on time, and at scale.
Core Responsibilities
Registration Communications & Campaign Execution
Execute all registration email campaigns including announcements, reminders, waitlist follow-ups, and confirmation flows
Manage push notifications, in-app messages, and registration communications aligned to league cycles
Execute web popups for deadlines, payment plans, and promotions
Write clear, conversion-focused email copy while maintaining brand voice
Coordinate approvals and ensure campaigns launch accurately and on schedule
Marketing Automation & Workflow Management
Maintain automated email journeys including reminders, waitlists, confirmations, and lifecycle communications
Ensure integrations between marketing tools, registration systems, and the website function correctly
Manage segmentation, list hygiene, and deliverability standards
Troubleshoot automation issues and coordinate technical support when needed
Document workflows and processes to ensure consistency and continuity
Web Portal & Content Updates
Update the registration portal weekly with deadlines, promotions, and city-specific information
Ensure accuracy across all markets and locations
Coordinate with designers on graphics and assets
Execute updates quickly to prevent registration confusion
Tools Administration & Cross-Functional Coordination
Serve as primary admin for email automation and popup tools
Coordinate with Social, Design, and Analytics teams on registration-related execution
Ensure consistent messaging across email, web, in-app, and social channels
Campaign Performance & Optimization
Monitor open rates, click-through rates, and conversions
Track registration performance by market
Identify optimization opportunities and support A/B testing
Report campaign performance to leadership
Partnership & Perks Coordination
Support Player Perks and local partnerships through marketing execution
Coordinate promotional communications and co-branded campaigns
Maintain relationships tied to athlete perks programs
Requirements
2-3 years of experience with email marketing or marketing automation platforms
Proven experience managing automated campaigns, segmentation, and triggered workflows
Strong understanding of email deliverability, list hygiene, and compliance
Comfort working across multiple tools, systems, and integrations
Strong copywriting skills with high attention to detail
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
Data-literate with experience reviewing campaign performance metrics

Compensation Disclosure
The expected annual compensation range for this role is between $50,000 and $65,000 CAD. Compensation is based on skills, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and business needs. The compensation range may be adjusted in the future.
