About

Position Summary: The MRI Technologist performs diagnostic testing according to established departmental procedures, ensuring the delivery of quality patient care. The MRI Technologist performs diagnostic testing as directed by the physician at a competent technical level not requiring constant supervision. This position ensures supplies are maintained and reports problems with equipment to the appropriate staff member. This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to team work and cooperation.
Experience: Candidates must possess ability to multitask, with attention to fine detail in a fast paced environment. Proficiency in Clinical Applications preferred at time of hire; incumbents within position will be trained appropriately and then skill will be required for this position within 30-60 days from date of hire.
Specialty Experience/Education Certification/Requirements: Associate's Degree, Registration from American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), Registered MR Technologist (MR), 2-4 years of related experience (Preferred), Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and registered with the ARRT, Demonstrates an adequate knowledge of anatomy, and CPR certified.
