Junior Kitchen Manager

As a Junior Kitchen Manager, you will:

• Support the Kitchen Manager in running a bustling kitchen.
• Lead and inspire a talented team of chefs, stepping up in the Kitchen Manager's absence.
• Monitor and enhance the guest experience, developing action plans for continuous improvement.
• Conduct daily briefings and manage stock control while ensuring food presentation is top-notch.
• Play a key role in financial performance by delivering food cost budgets through effective menu planning.
• Uphold food hygiene standards and health & safety regulations in line with legislation and company policies.
• Be a role model for Butlin’s unique way of working, ensuring training and performance development plans are in place for your team.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience in a similar role and is passionate about culinary excellence.
• Is hardworking, determined, and reliable, always seeking better ways to meet brand standards.
• Brings energy, enthusiasm, and a fun-loving spirit to the kitchen.
• Holds a Level 3 Food Safety qualification and is confident in leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Understands the importance of managing margins, controlling costs, and maintaining health and safety standards.

This role covers a 5-day working week over 7 days , totaling 40 hours . Flexibility is key, as some shifts may extend late into the night, with 4am finishes involved.
