Join Our Team at Woodlands Day Nursery and Preschool! Position: Nursery Practitioner - Level 2

Hours: 40 hours per week

Schedule: Monday - Friday, All year round

Salary: £31,200 per annum

Your Role as Nursery Practitioner:

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:

  • Ensure each child’s individual needs are met, delivering high-quality care and education in a safe and secure environment.
  • Observe, assess, and plan engaging early years activities that support each child’s unique learning and development.
  • Collaborate as a professional team member, demonstrating a flexible attitude and a willingness to develop new skills.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and applied.
  • Follow risk assessments diligently and report any health and safety matters to management.
  • Support the holistic development of children, including their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth.

What You Need:

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Full and relevant Level 2 childcare qualification: Essential
  • Fluency in written and spoken English: Essential
  • Over 1 year’s experience in Early Years: Desirable
  • Knowledge of the Statutory Framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements: Desirable
