Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced WordPress developer with strong skills in WooCommerce to work on a new project. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both frontend and backend development and have a solid understanding of WordPress architecture.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain WordPress websites with a focus on eCommerce using WooCommerce
- Collaborate with design and marketing teams to implement website design and functionality
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with WordPress and WooCommerce plugins
- Optimize website performance and speed
- Ensure website security and implement necessary updates
- Manage website content and updates
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development
- Extensive experience with WooCommerce, including customization of the checkout process, product pages, and product variants
- Knowledge of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with PHP and MySQL
- Experience with website optimization and security
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with other eCommerce platforms such as Shopify or Magento
- Familiarity with SEO best practices
- Experience with website analytics and reporting tools
