About the Role:

We are looking to welcome a proactive and organized Junior Accountant to join our Finance team If you are looking to build your career in Finance, this is the perfect opening for you with lots of learning and development opportunities. Compensation:

The typical hiring range for this position is $50,000-58,000/ year.

Responsibilities:

  • Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
  • Prepare weekly payment runs
  • Reconcile vendor statements and respond to supplier inquiries
  • Support month-end close activities including accruals, reconciliations, and expense analysis
  • Maintain the fixed asset schedule, including tracking new asset additions, performing monthly reconciliations, and recording depreciation entries
  • Review and process inventory cycle counts
  • Provide backup coverage for invoicing and Accounts Receivable

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Completion of an accounting diploma and pursuing a CPA designation
  • Previous experience in accounts payable is preferred
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and English written skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
