Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Analytics
As a Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Analytics, you will play a critical role in propelling data-informed decisions that optimize end-to-end supply chain performance. Leveraging your advanced evaluative skills and comprehensive knowledge of supply chain operations, you will direct key initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, reducing costs, and assisting business continuity. This role requires a high level of cross-functional cooperation, technical expertise, and a dedication to continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate and interpret complex datasets to assist strategic decision-making, deliver actionable insights, and recommend enhancements for operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Prepare detailed analysis and presentation decks on assigned projects, including cost benefit analysis and cost reduction initiatives.
- Understand current excel-based tools and migrate into database platforms to generate automated reports for the stakeholders.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on supply chain systems and tools, providing technical assistance and training on forecasting methodologies and best practices to internal stakeholders.
- Work closely with Transportation Planning and Scheduling Teams, automate existing processes and reports, and prepare customized datasets by connecting existing large datasets
- Design, implement, and maintain advanced dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to track key performance indicators, and provide mentorship and knowledge-sharing to foster a culture of cooperation and innovation.
- Investigate and resolve cross-functional process issues in partnership with departments like Operations, Finance, and Procurement, and cooperate with IT teams to ensure timely resolution of system-related incidents.
What You'll Bring:
- Proven ability to evaluate and solve complex business problems using data-focused approaches, coupled with excellent communication skills to convey insights and influence stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, charts), SQL, data evaluation tools (SAS or Microsoft Access), and experience with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle).
- Good to have: Experience with key supply chain areas such as demand planning, inventory management (e.g., EOQ models), and logistics optimization.
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis and process improvement methodologies.
- Post secondary education in Data Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required; a master's degree is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility for occasional weekend work, and a commitment to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
