Marshall Canada requires a Sub-Contract Specialist in Moncton, NB to join our team. Reporting to the Sub-Contracts & Supplier Project Manager, the Sub-Contract Specialist plays a key role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials and services across the supply chain. This position supports the Subcontract Managers and Project Managers in their interactions with suppliers, ensuring alignment with project timelines, cost objectives, and quality standards. The Sub-Contract Specialist facilitates communication, tracks progress and contributes to the overall success of the supply chain operations.
Your responsibilities in this role:
- Supplier Support: Assist Subcontract Manager and Project Managers in managing supplier relationships, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services. Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve issues and align expectations.
- Procurement Coordination: Coordinate procurement activities, including purchase order creation, tracking, and follow-ups. Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with company procurement policies.
- Project Management Assistance: Provide logistical and administrative support to Project Managers to ensure smooth supplier integration into project schedules. Monitor supplier performance and escalate issues as needed.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate records of supplier interactions, contracts, and delivery timelines. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for suppliers and generate regular reports for internal review.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce costs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.
- Risk Management: Monitor and mitigate risks associated with supplier performance, delivery delays, and quality issues. Support contingency planning efforts to minimize project disruptions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Apply if you have most of the following:
- Post Secondary Education in a relevant field (e.g. Technical Trade, Engineering, Business) or have equivalent knowledge gained through other forms of education or training.
- Proven working experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques
- Attention to detail and experience in collecting and analyzing data.
- Strong communication skills, detail oriented, and able to work in a complex matrix organization.
- Ability to communicate information to various stakeholder in English (including written reports).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications
- Proficiency in French is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications
Must be eligible to meet the requirements of export control regulations, including the Canadian Controlled Goods Program and Canadian government security requirements.
