About
Our Vancouver-based team owns critical infrastructure powering Amazon's marketing content creation, including content automation platforms, centralized brand guideline systems, and content management tools serving thousands of users. You'll work on challenging problems at the intersection of generative AI integration, design automation, and large-scale content systems, building the integrated experience that enables marketers to create brand-compliant content at scale.
We're looking for an experienced full-stack engineer who can ramp quickly and deliver high-impact features. You'll join a growing team at a pivotal moment as we scale our automation workflows and self-service capabilities, working on systems that directly shape how Amazon presents products to customers worldwide.
Key job responsibilities
* Build content generation systems with automated image processing and template creation.
* Design scalable services handling millions of requests.
* Design and build intuitive user interfaces that delight customers and set new standards for user experience in content creation tools
* Enable workflow automation reducing creation time.

A day in the life
You'll build platform tools empowering marketers to create content reaching millions of shoppers. Your day might include architecting template ingestion pipelines, optimizing image positioning algorithms, or enhancing API capabilities for bulk generation. You'll balance heads-down coding with cross-team collaboration – reviewing designs with UX, scoping priorities with product managers, gathering feedback from marketing teams. You'll tackle genuinely hard problems: How do we auto-generate brand-compliant templates? How do we scale while maintaining quality? Your solutions will have immediate, measurable impact.

Vancouver-based team owning mission-critical products serving thousands across Amazon's marketing organization. We're at an inflection point in our strategy, shifting from manual content assembly to AI-powered generation. We're building self-service template systems, integrating with prompt-based AI tools, and enabling automated content workflows. Our team culture emphasizes innovation, customer obsession, and technical excellence. You'll work on genuinely interesting problems at the intersection of AI, design systems, and large-scale platforms – with direct visibility into how your work impacts Amazon's marketing effectiveness and customer experience.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
