About

Construction Project Manager
Location: Kingston, Ontario
Build What Matters. Lead What's Next.
At Patry Group of Companies, we don't just build projects — we build communities and long-term value. With 30+ completed developments, 5,000+ residential units under management, 1,000 units under construction, and 4,700 units in planning, our growth trajectory is strong, strategic, and accelerating.
We are looking for a Construction Project Manager who thrives in complex environments, takes pride in delivering quality builds, and wants to lead high-impact residential projects from concept to completion. If you're driven, organized, and energized by seeing tangible results of your leadership, this role was built for you.
Your Role
As a Construction Project Manager, you will have end-to-end ownership of multiple residential construction projects. You'll lead teams, manage trades and consultants, control budgets and schedules, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and on budget — without compromising quality.
You'll be a trusted leader on site and a strategic partner to ownership, setting the standard for execution, accountability, and collaboration.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Project Leadership & Delivery
Lead construction projects from design development and tendering through to final close-out
Provide overall technical, administrative, and operational direction for one or more projects
Establish construction sequencing, methodologies, and risk mitigation strategies
Ensure all projects meet Patry Group's standards for quality, safety, and performance
Schedule & Cost Control
Develop and maintain detailed master project schedules, including critical path, milestones, and inspections
Monitor schedules proactively and communicate impacts clearly to all stakeholders
Track costs weekly against estimates and prepare accurate cost-to-complete forecasts
Ensure financial accountability across labour, materials, and subcontractor scopes
Team & Stakeholder Management
Lead, mentor, and develop project staff, fostering a high-performance team environment
Manage relationships with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and authorities
Chair project meetings, ensure clear action items, and maintain accurate documentation
Set the tone for collaboration, professionalism, and accountability on every project
Contracts & Documentation
Oversee tendering, contract reviews, pricing analysis, and contract administration
Ensure all contracts align with project schedules and company standards
Manage RFIs, SIs, COs, NOCs, and ensure timely resolution and circulation
Direct project close-out, including as-builts, warranties, deficiencies, and turnover documentation
Reporting & Governance
Provide clear monthly reporting to Ownership on budget, schedule, quality, and risk
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety programs, and Ministry guidelines
Identify issues early and implement proactive solutions
What You Bring
8–10+ years of construction experience, including senior-level project management
Proven experience delivering residential construction projects in a fast-paced environment
Strong understanding of the full design-to-build lifecycle
Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Confidence managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
PMP or PMAC certification (preferred)
Proficiency with MS Office and project scheduling tools (MS Project)
Post-secondary education in Architectural, Engineering, or Construction Technology (or equivalent experience)
Valid G Driver's License and ability to travel to project sites
Why Join Patry Group
We believe great leaders deserve great support. That's why we offer a total rewards package designed for long-term success — both professionally and personally.
What You'll Get
Competitive compensation aligned with experience and performance
Keys in Hand Program – helping you move closer to home ownership
Comprehensive Manulife Benefits Package – health, dental, vision, and more
RESP Contributions – because your family's future matters
Opportunity to lead large-scale, high-profile residential projects
A stable, growing organization with a strong pipeline of work
A leadership team that values initiative, accountability, and results
The Opportunity
This is more than a project management role — it's a chance to leave your mark on a rapidly growing real estate portfolio and be part of a company that invests in its people as much as its projects.
If you're ready to lead, build, and grow with a company that's shaping Ottawa's residential landscape, we'd love to hear from you.
