Your New Role

As part of our Contribution Engineering team, you’ll play a crucial role in designing and installing contribution technology across the EMEA region. Your mission? To help build and maintain the platforms that deliver TNT Sports & Eurosport’s expanding portfolio of sports rights.

This hybrid role, based in Chiswick Park, London , requires you to be in the office up to 3 days a week (Monday to Friday), with travel to major events and the Olympics expected.

Your Role Accountabilities
  • Design and implement contribution compression systems for TNT Sports/Eurosport.
  • Liaise with Sports Technology, Production, and Operations teams to deliver future projects.
  • Champion innovative contribution technology across the business.
  • Manage third-party suppliers, ensuring clear requirements and adherence to SLAs.
  • Stay updated on the latest technologies to enhance our broadcast capabilities.
  • Provide expert technical support, troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree-level education or relevant experience in a broadcast environment.
  • Knowledge of current compression standards and broadcast video signal chains.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to advance projects independently.
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex technical information clearly.
  • Willingness to travel for major events and adapt to the fast-paced nature of sports broadcasting.
Desirable Skills
  • Familiarity with JPEG 2000/XS, H264/HEVC, and NDI.
  • Knowledge of SMPTE 2022-7, 2110, NMOS, and SDN.
  • Experience with UHD, HDR, and Dolby Atmos formats.
  • Previous experience in remote production and deploying systems in AWS and GCP.
  • Experience with LTE and internet contribution (SRT/RIST/ZIXI).
  • Background in MCR operations and engineering.
Working Conditions

This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model , combining remote and in-office work. Adjustments may be made based on business needs, with reasonable notice provided.
