Join our dynamic Fulfillment Associate team in Madison, Wisconsin! This role is pivotal in ensuring that customer orders are processed with speed and accuracy. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including picking products from inventory, carefully packing them for shipment, and preparing them for dispatch. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations based on order requirements.
- Inspect products for any defects or damages before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, ensuring they are well-protected for transit.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including affixing labels and staging for carriers.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Participate in inventory management activities, including cycle counts.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily fulfillment goals.
- Utilize safe Lifting techniques when handling merchandise.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a fulfillment center or warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
- Must be capable of Lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Knowledge of and strict adherence to safety protocols and the use of PPE.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a desire to contribute to team success.
- Understanding the importance of precise logistics in meeting customer needs.
