Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks, ensuring accuracy and security.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through proper stocking and locating.
- Ensure all materials are handled in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Wear appropriate PPE, including safety shoes and gloves, at all times.
- Perform regular inspections of equipment to ensure operational readiness and safety.
- Handle lifting requirements, which may involve moving items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute to the smooth operation of our logistics and supply chain processes.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to upholding a high standard of safety.
