You will utilize scanning technology to locate products and confirm selections, ensuring high levels of accuracy. This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic warehouse environment. A strong emphasis is placed on safety; you will be expected to follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE, to ensure a secure workplace. The role involves significant standing and walking, and the capacity for occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds is required. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations based on order requirements.
- Use RF scanners to locate products, confirm picks, and track inventory.
- Ensure the correct quantity and item identification for each order.
- Stage picked orders for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy standards.
- Assist with receiving and put-away duties as needed.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damaged items to supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and order information.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Capable of occasional lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse safety principles.
- Familiarity with logistics operations.
