Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins.
- Identify and manage inventory, ensuring accuracy.
- Pick and pack orders according to specifications.
- Prepare and load shipments for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment within the distribution center.
- Operate warehouse equipment as trained.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including proper lifting techniques.
- Wear required PPE, such as safety glasses and gloves, consistently.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is advantageous.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 45 lbs.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of logistics principles is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
