Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Material Handler to join our busy logistics center in St. Louis, Missouri. As a Material Handler, you will be essential to the smooth operation of our warehouse, ensuring the efficient and safe flow of goods. Your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, and dispatching a wide range of materials. This role requires an individual who is physically fit, detail-oriented, and dedicated to maintaining a secure and organized workspace. Safety is our top priority; therefore, strict adherence to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe lifting practices, is mandatory. You will work collaboratively with other team members to achieve daily operational goals and contribute to our overall logistics success. Responsibilities:
  • Receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming materials.
  • Retrieving and delivering materials to designated areas.
  • Operating material handling equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks).
  • Assisting with inventory management and cycle counts.
  • Packaging and preparing materials for shipment.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse.
  • Strictly following all safety protocols, including the use of PPE.
  • Adhering to safe lifting procedures and techniques.
  • Identifying and reporting any safety hazards or operational issues.
  • Supporting overall logistics and warehouse operations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting up to 55 lbs, bending, and standing for long periods.
  • Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and contribute positively to a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety in the workplace.
