As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in the efficient movement and organization of materials within our busy warehouse. Your responsibilities will include managing inventory, operating equipment, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods. Responsibilities:
- Receiving, inspecting, and stocking incoming materials and products.
- Loading and unloading trucks, ensuring safe and secure handling of all items.
- Transporting materials throughout the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Organizing inventory in a systematic manner to optimize storage space and accessibility.
- Conducting routine checks on warehouse equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
- Strictly adhering to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Performing accurate inventory counts and assisting with reconciliation.
- Must be able to perform frequent lifting of up to 60 lbs and engage in physically demanding tasks.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area to enhance operational efficiency and safety in our logistics hub.
- Working cooperatively with colleagues to achieve daily operational goals.
- Following all instructions for material handling, storage, and disposal.
