We are looking for an efficient and reliable Order Picker to join our warehouse team in Boise, Idaho. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving specified items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role requires speed, precision, and a strong understanding of warehouse layout and inventory management. You will play a key part in ensuring that orders are picked correctly and promptly, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and the overall efficiency of our logistics operations. We are committed to providing a safe working environment, and all necessary safety training and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided. The ideal candidate will have prior experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to perform physical tasks including consistent Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Locate and retrieve ordered items from warehouse shelves using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order requirements.
- Ensure picked items are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Stage picked orders for the packing and shipping departments.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or issues to a supervisor.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in inventory counts as required.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform repetitive Lifting of items up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic logistics concepts.
- Commitment to adhering to Safety guidelines and wearing PPE.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
