About
We are seeking a diligent Order Picker for our Jacksonville, Florida location. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your daily tasks will include reading pick tickets, locating items, verifying quantities, and staging them for the next stage of the logistics process. Precision and speed are key to ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. A strong emphasis is placed on safety; all team members must wear the required PPE and adhere to all safety regulations to maintain a secure working environment. This role requires physical endurance, including walking, standing, and regular lifting of up to 40 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations according to order specifications.
- Use handheld scanners to manage inventory and track order progress.
- Ensure correct product codes and quantities are picked.
- Consolidate picked items and prepare them for packing/shipping.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in picking areas.
- Adhere to all company safety rules and wear appropriate PPE.
- Report any discrepancies in stock or damaged items to supervision.
- Participate in team efforts to meet daily order fulfillment goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a logistics setting.
- Familiarity with warehouse scanning equipment is a plus.
- Commitment to following safety procedures and using PPE correctly.
- Reliable and able to work efficiently.
