Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and report any discrepancies.
- Stock merchandise in designated areas, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
- Accurately pick orders based on customer requirements using hand-held scanners or other technology.
- Package products securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, as needed (training provided).
- Participate in inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of inventory control principles.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety guidelines and using required PPE.
