Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Stock and organize inventory within the warehouse, ensuring items are easily accessible.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure the safety of the work area and equipment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including proper PPE usage.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse and your workstation.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or safety hazards.
- Contribute to a positive team environment through effective communication and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics .
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Willingness to learn and operate various warehouse machinery.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and PPE requirements in a warehouse setting.
