Join our busy warehouse team in San Antonio, Texas, as a Picker/Packer. This essential role is at the heart of our order fulfillment process, ensuring that customers receive their products accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order lists or scanner data, carefully packing them into appropriate containers, and preparing them for shipment. Precision, speed, and a commitment to quality are critical for success. You will work within a dynamic logistics environment, utilizing various tools and technologies to manage inventory and fulfill orders. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from inventory locations using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Stage completed orders in designated areas for shipment.
- Receive and check incoming inventory as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE use.
- Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Perform tasks involving frequent lifting and physical dexterity.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse/logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining quality.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to follow all safety instructions and wear PPE.
