Your responsibilities will include picking and packing orders, loading and unloading trucks, and assisting with inventory management. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent lifting and standing for extended periods. You will be expected to operate various warehouse equipment and adhere strictly to all safety protocols and guidelines. Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks, ensuring proper handling.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and proficiently.
- Assist with inventory control, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including aisles and work areas.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the correct use of PPE.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or equipment issues.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Contribute to a positive and productive warehouse culture.
- Support various logistics tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds consistently.
- Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial trucks is preferred.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
- Commitment to safety and proactive hazard identification.
- Good communication skills.
