Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our logistics team in Seattle, Washington. This role is integral to managing the flow of goods in and out of our facility, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and Safety. You will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming inventory, as well as picking, packing, and preparing outgoing shipments. Your dedication to operational excellence will contribute significantly to our supply chain success.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive and verify incoming shipments, checking for accuracy and damage.
  • Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
  • Accurately stock inventory in designated locations within the warehouse.
  • Pick, pack, and assemble customer orders for shipment.
  • Create shipping labels and documentation, coordinating with carriers.
  • Maintain meticulous inventory records and participate in regular cycle counts.
  • Ensure the work environment, particularly the shipping and receiving docks, is clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Strictly follow all company Safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and external partners.
  • Optimize warehouse space and processes to enhance overall logistics performance.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in shipping, receiving, or a general warehouse role.
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment; relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management software (WMS).
  • A strong commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to all regulations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven logistics environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and perform manual labor for extended shifts.
