About
We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our busy warehouse facility in Orlando, Florida. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your expertise in material handling is essential for maintaining the smooth flow of goods within our logistics operations. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse procedures and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of Safety.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers efficiently and safely.
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and other items throughout the warehouse.
- Perform pre-operational checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of material movement and inventory.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of obstructions.
- Ensure the proper handling and Storage of all materials to prevent damage and ensure Safety.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with valid certification.
- Proficiency in operating different types of forklifts.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling techniques.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, with occasional Lifting up to 70 pounds.
- Strong understanding of Safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
