We are hiring a Material Handler for our San Francisco, California facility. This role is essential to our warehouse operations, ensuring the smooth flow of materials throughout the facility. Responsibilities include receiving, stocking, and distributing materials, as well as assisting with shipping and receiving processes. You will operate forklifts and other equipment to move heavy items and manage inventory effectively. Safety is our utmost priority; strict adherence to safety protocols and the mandatory use of PPE are required at all times. This position demands physical strength, including significant lifting up to 75 lbs, and the ability to operate machinery safely. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and within the warehouse.
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming materials.
- Pick, pack, and stage materials for outgoing shipments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and safe.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance.
- Assist with shipping and receiving operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 75 lbs.
- Strong knowledge of material handling equipment and logistics best practices.
- Excellent understanding of warehouse safety regulations and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
