This position is fundamental to our supply chain operations, ensuring that products are efficiently processed, stored, and dispatched. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be involved in a wide range of activities, including receiving goods, managing inventory, picking and packing orders with precision, and preparing shipments for delivery. We are seeking dedicated individuals who are committed to accuracy, efficiency, and workplace safety. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will work collaboratively with a team of skilled professionals, contributing to the overall success of our logistics network. Comprehensive training will be provided, covering our operational procedures and safety standards. A key focus will be on maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring that orders are fulfilled correctly and promptly. The demands of the role include consistent Lifting and movement throughout the warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated areas.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials and methods.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.
- Work effectively with colleagues to meet daily productivity goals.
- Handle tasks involving frequent Lifting and moving of items.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in task completion.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
- Team-oriented with good communication abilities.
- Understanding of and commitment to warehouse safety protocols and PPE usage.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is advantageous.
