We are looking for an organized and proactive Warehouse Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of our distribution center in Boise, Idaho. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient and smooth functioning of our warehouse, managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and supervising warehouse staff. You will be instrumental in optimizing warehouse processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs. Key responsibilities include managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. You will also be responsible for coordinating with carriers, scheduling deliveries, and resolving any logistical issues that may arise. A strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and supply chain principles is essential. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage a team effectively. This position requires a meticulous approach to detail, problem-solving capabilities, and a commitment to upholding safety standards. You will play a crucial role in implementing best practices in logistics and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Regular interaction with suppliers and customers may be part of this role. The ability to perform tasks requiring moderate Lifting and manual dexterity will be occasionally necessary. Ensure that all team members are trained on and adhere to safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stocktakes.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers and vendors.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff.
- Ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and safe.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Analyze and report on warehouse performance metrics.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational and logistical issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.
- Assist with tasks requiring physical effort, including Lifting, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Experience with inventory management systems (WMS).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
