We are hiring a reliable Warehouse Worker for our busy facility in Indianapolis, Indiana. This position is fundamental to our daily operations, encompassing a wide range of tasks from order fulfillment to maintaining facility organization. You will be involved in receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at every step. The ideal candidate is a team player, physically fit, and possesses a strong commitment to safety and following established procedures. This role is vital for our overall logistics performance.
Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Receive and put away incoming inventory accurately.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and guidelines, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Follow all logistics and company standard operating procedures.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Be mindful of Lifting requirements and use proper body mechanics.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor role.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and safety practices.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Understanding of basic inventory and logistics principles.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
