We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our innovative technology team. **
* Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and automated scripts for software applications across web, mobile, and API interfaces.
* Utilize testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, and HP ALM to perform functional, regression, performance, load, and system testing.
* Conduct mobile testing on Android and iOS platforms to verify app functionality, usability, and compatibility using tools like Appium and related frameworks.
* Perform API testing for RESTful web services using tools such as Postman or SoapUI; validate data exchange through JSON and XML formats.
* Analyze system requirements and business specifications to identify test scenarios; collaborate with developers and business analysts for clarity.
* Implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps to automate build verification and deployment processes.
* Conduct root cause analysis on defects; troubleshoot issues related to software bugs, network configurations, or environment inconsistencies.
* Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, defect reports, and testing procedures; ensure traceability throughout the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
* Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by coordinating with stakeholders; assist in validating that delivered solutions meet business needs.
* Contribute to release management activities by verifying release readiness through comprehensive testing cycles; participate in Agile or Waterfall methodologies as required.
**
* Proven experience in software testing within Agile environments; familiarity with SDLC processes is essential.
* Strong proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber (BDD), and scripting languages like Python or JavaScript.
* Hands-on experience with mobile testing on Android and iOS platforms using Appium or similar frameworks.
* Knowledge of API testing including RESTful services with tools like Postman or SoapUI; understanding of JSON/XML data formats.
* Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub, GitLab, SVN or TFS for managing code repositories.
* Experience working with databases including MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle or MongoDB for data validation and analysis.
* Ability to perform performance testing using LoadRunner or similar tools; analyze system bottlenecks effectively.
* Strong analytical skills for root cause analysis; excellent problem-solving abilities combined with attention to detail.
* Effective communication skills for collaborating across teams; capable of translating technical issues into clear reports.
* Knowledge of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines; experience with Jenkins or Azure DevOps is highly desirable. Pay: $93,609.34 - $130,690.83 per year
