We are looking for a
Network & Security Analyst
you will be reponsible for designing, monitoring and securing the organisations betwirk infrastructure to ensure availability, performance and resillience. In this role you will need to be proactive in identifying and mitigating cyber risks, security incidents, and much more.

About the role:
Design, implement, and maintain secure, resilient network infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. Ensure optimal performance, availability, and scalability aligned with business needs. Continuously monitor network performance, capacity, and reliability using appropriate tools. Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements to maintain service levels. Operate and manage security controls including firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and secure gateways. Ensure systems are configured in line with security best practices. Monitor for security threats and respond to incidents in line with incident management procedures. Investigate root causes and implement corrective and preventative actions. Conduct regular vulnerability scanning, risk assessments, and remediation activities. Work with stakeholders to prioritise and address security weaknesses. Manage network access controls, authentication mechanisms, and privileged access. Ensure the principle of least privilege is consistently applied. Support the development and enforcement of network and security policies, standards, and procedures. Ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual, and organisational requirements. Plan and implement network and security changes through formal change control processes. Apply patches and updates to minimise risk and service disruption. Essential Qualifications:
BTEC level 3 or above. CCNA, CompTIA Network or Security + A computing degree is desirable Essential Experience:
Experience of working with firewalls, switches, routers and wireless networks. Knowledge of Wireshark and NMap. Understanding of MS Azure and experience of managing an enterprise network. A working knowledge of Linux. Why join us?
