About
Our New York City facility is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our **Logistics** team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory through meticulous tracking and auditing processes. You will manage stock levels, conduct cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and implement improvements to inventory management systems. Upholding **Safety** standards and ensuring the correct use of **PPE** are non-negotiable aspects of this position. While this role is less physically demanding than some warehouse positions, the ability to perform moderate **Lifting** (up to 30 lbs) may occasionally be required. We are looking for individuals with a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a proven ability to manage inventory effectively in a busy urban environment. Responsibilities include generating inventory reports, identifying obsolete or slow-moving stock, coordinating with purchasing and operations departments, and optimizing warehouse layout for efficient stock management.
