Border Protection Specialist
Safeguarding our borders is a vital aspect of national security. As a Customs and Border Protection Officer, you will play a crucial role in enforcing customs laws while facilitating trade and travel.
- To be successful in this position, you must possess strong analytical skills to identify potential security threats.
- You should also have excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders including government agencies, international partners and the public at large.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforce customs laws by identifying and detaining individuals who attempt to smuggle contraband across our nation's borders
- Facilitate legitimate trade by ensuring compliance with regulations related to importation/exportation of goods
