About
The Occupational Therapist provides comprehensive occupational therapy services to patients under physician orders, including evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, and documentation. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing and modifying individualized treatment plans, delivering therapeutic interventions, and supporting patients’ functional independence in clinical, home, and community settings.
The Occupational Therapist collaborates with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members; supervises COTAs, aides, students, and volunteers; and participates in discharge planning, quality assurance, and patient and staff education. The position requires adherence to professional standards of practice, facility policies, safety and infection control guidelines, confidentiality requirements, and documentation procedures, while maintaining a positive, professional presence and effective communication within the care team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
