Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role is critical for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for implementing and managing inventory control procedures, conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring that our inventory data is precise and up-to-date. Strong analytical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to best practices in **Logistics** are essential. You will work closely with warehouse staff to ensure proper handling and storage of goods, minimizing errors and optimizing stock levels. Adherence to all **Safety** guidelines and the proper use of **PPE** are fundamental to this position. Your contribution will directly impact operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve all inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Monitor inventory levels, forecast needs, and identify potential stock issues.
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to improve accuracy.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with receiving, shipping, and operations teams.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and organization of all inventory items.
  • Uphold all **Safety** standards and ensure correct **PPE** usage.
  • Assist with **Lifting** requirements as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehousing, or **Logistics**.
  • Proficiency with WMS and inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Understanding of warehouse **Safety** protocols and **PPE**.
  • Must be able to perform **Lifting** tasks up to 50 lbs.
