POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a Human Resources Assistant to directly support the National HR Vice President in a complex, people-focused, and rapidly growing environment.

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate HR activities.
- Follow regulatory deadlines and compliance obligations.
- Maintain corporate HR documentation (policies, procedures, programs and communications).
- Manage incoming HR communications with professionalism and judgment.
- Managing the VP of HR's agenda.
- Participate in the preparation and follow-up of key meetings.
- Prepare presentations and communications with executive reach
- Supporting the HR team directors in operational activities.
- Supporting the preparation of documents related to collective agreement negotiations.
- To monitor decisions and priorities.
- Update HR dashboards and key indicators (turnover, OHS, grievances, disputes).• Soutenir la préparation de documents liés aux négociations de conventions collectives.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Good communication
- Bilingualism both oral and written
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (an asset)
- Discretion and respect for confidentiality
