What the role looks like:
In this role, your main responsibilities will be to review and analyze, categorize and format biomedical content from around the web, using online tools to consolidate information. You will also work with the team to develop and scale data processes that meet internal quality and accuracy standards, with the opportunity to wear many hats that help shape data best practices to position the brand for long-term success.

- You're highly organized and comfortable working independently.

- You have an interest in data both qualitative and quantitative.
- Strong understanding of biological and life science topics demonstrated through academic coursework or prior co-op terms.
- Experienced using Python, Google Colab, and workflow orchestration tools to build data processing pipelines.
- You're very comfortable using Excel/Google Sheets.
- You are ideally enrolled in a bioinformatics or biological sciences program.
- You're super curious about everything. Examples of things you've built are highly encouraged.

As we're funding this position with the assistance of the Student Work Placement Program and the Ontario Co-operative education tax credit, candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Registered full-time or part-time under a co‑operative education program in a publicly funded Ontario post-secondary institution.
- A Canadian citizen, permanent resident or a protected person as defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada, including specific province legislation and regulations.
Location: If the successful candidate is based in the Greater Toronto Area, she/he/they can choose to participate in our hybrid experience, by working from home 2 days/week, while enjoying the benefits of in-person interactions at our Toronto office 3 days/week.
If our successful candidate is based elsewhere in Canada, he/she/they will work remotely 100% of the time.
Salary: $3500 - $3800 per month
Working Hours: 9am - 5pm EST, Mon-Fri
Start Date: May 4th, 2026
End Date: December 18, 2026
