Mission:
To support seamless construction project delivery by coordinating with internal and external teams, tracking progress, and maximizing the efficiency and accuracy of project management software, ensuring projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards.
We are looking for someone excited about the industry and eager to contribute in a fast-paced, startup-mode environment. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, ready to work hard, take ownership, and grow alongside a team and company that are rapidly expanding. This is an opportunity to play a meaningful role, build experience across multiple facets of the business, and help shape the systems and processes of a growing organization.
Expected Outcomes (includes but not limited to):
Planning, Scheduling, and Progress Tracking
Supports PMs and superintendents in monitoring project cost, schedule, quality, site progress, and manufacturing readiness, escalating issues promptly.
Prepares and tracks progress claims, estimates, and manufacturing-related quantities, ensuring alignment between production output and site installation.
Performs quantity takeoffs and progress surveys to support accurate cost tracking, manufacturing quantity verification, and contract reporting.
Assists with change order management—pricing, negotiation support, processing—while assessing impacts on design revisions, manufacturing sequences, and construction schedule before PM review.
Assists in developing and monitoring the project schedule, incorporating key milestones for design development, manufacturing production, delivery logistics, and site installation.
Procurement, Subcontracts, and Materials Management
Supports subcontract administration by clarifying scopes, responding to subcontractor inquiries, and monitoring progress, ensuring alignment between design intent, manufacturing output, and site installation.
Supports PMs in preparing and issuing tender packages, including capturing manufacturing scope requirements, reviewing subcontract responses, and tracking progress post-award.
Tracks material and equipment inventory including manufactured components, expediting orders and coordinating delivery timing with production and site needs.
Prepares self-perform work packages and maintains self-perform scheduling and costing, coordinating material availability and design updates affecting the work.
Documentation and Project Controls
Manages document control processes including, but not limited to, RFIs, shop drawings, manufacturing drawings, change requests, ensuring timely circulation and version accuracy across design, factory, and site teams.
Prepares and tracks progress claims, estimates, and manufacturing-related quantities, ensuring alignment between production output and site installation.
Assists with project closeout, including documentation, as-built verification, manufacturing documentation, deficiency resolution, and warranty coordination.
Reviews project and subcontract obligations, assisting the site manager with start-up activities, including coordinating design deliverables and manufacturing readiness requirements.
Safety, Quality, and Compliance
Supports safety and quality programs by reinforcing best practices across design interpretation, manufacturing coordination, and site activity.
Assists in monitoring and reporting HSE, cost, schedule, quality, design deliverables, and manufacturing progress for designated scopes.
Coordinates site inspections with the design team and manufacturing representatives, helping resolve constructability issues and confirming code, AHJ, and functional compliance, ensuring all parties sign off.
Supports design-team and manufacturing-team inspections for installation deficiencies and participates in commissioning and sign-off activities.
Assists with pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, ensuring manufactured components and installed systems meet performance requirements.
Design, Manufacturing, and Technical Coordination
Reviews drawings with designers/engineers, identifying coordination issues and proposing value-added alternatives that improve constructability, manufacturing efficiency, or installation sequencing.
Reviews subcontractor and manufacturing submittals for scope compliance and interdisciplinary coordination, ensuring alignment with design documents before forwarding for design-team approval.
Identifies field technical issues and assists in resolving them, coordinating with design and manufacturing teams when issues originate upstream.
Supports construction planning and coordination, integrating design changes, manufacturing outputs, and site sequencing.
Identifies potential risks related to design development, manufacturing constraints, logistical sequencing, and construction progress.
Stakeholder Coordination and Team Support
Builds strong relationships with project, design, manufacturing, and site stakeholders, supporting a solution-focused and cost-aware project culture.
Mentors junior coordinators and interns, supporting their development in design review, manufacturing coordination, and field execution.
Performs additional duties as required to support design progression, manufacturing coordination, procurement, and site execution.
The Candidate
Must haves
Planning, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize own work, and direct-report tasks.
Postsecondary education or training in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
Expert knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings and specifications, project health, safety and environment (HSE), quality, building materials, and required standards as per discipline.
Expert understanding of means and methods, and construction sequences.
