About the Role
We are looking for a mid-level Technical Project Manager (Data Science & Measurement) to support the delivery of modeling and reporting initiatives for a set of identified clients. This role focuses on coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines and dependencies, and helping translate measurement and reporting needs into technical delivery.
You'll work closely with both client and internal leadership (business operations, media strategy and planning, data science, data engineering), as well as partners (such as Google, Meta) to help implement and enhance data science (modeling) and measurement deliverables, in alignment with business goals, budgets and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Support the planning and execution of data science (modeling) and measurement projects from intake through delivery
Coordinate day-to-day project activities, timelines, milestones, and dependencies
Participate in sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives
Partner with business operations, marketing, data science and engineering teams to gather and document business and technical requirements
Help manage implementations and integrations across identified tech and data platforms (e.g., CRM, CDP, analytics, marketing automation tools)
Track project status, risks, and action items; escalate issues when needed
Ensure project documentation is accurate and up to date (project plans & task staging, business & technical requirements, RAID logs, meeting notes)
Assist with vendor coordination and implementation partners as needed
Support adherence to data privacy, consent, and governance requirements
Contribute to improving project delivery processes and documentation standards
Required Qualifications
4-6 years of experience in project management, technical project coordination, or a similar role. PMP certification as asset.
Familiar with standard advertising platforms – DSPs, ad servers, social media (e.g. Meta, TikTok) – and the data these platforms make available via APIs
Advanced proficiency with Jira and Confluence (must have). Nice to have: Asana or Smartsheet.
Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure), marketing technology (CDP, CRM platform), data platforms and pipelines
Experience working with BI/analytics tools such as Domo or Looker (required).
Previous experience working within a media agency environment (required).
Comfortable working with technical teams and learning technical concepts (cloud architecture workflows, data flows, APIs, taxonomy, integrations)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Working onsite at a client location three days a week (mid-town)
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with privacy, consent management, or data compliance concepts
Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments
What Success Looks Like
Projects are well organized, clearly documented, and risks documented and escalated at the earliest opportunity
Stakeholders understand project priorities, timelines, dependencies and task staging (across internal and client team members)
Technical teams receive clear business requirements and client approvals before and development, to ensure efficient and timely delivery
Scoped project deliverables are surfaced on spec, on time and on budget
