Protect America's Borders as a Customs and Border Protection Officer
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is seeking highly motivated and skilled individuals to fill the role of Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Officer.
In this dynamic position, you will play a critical part in safeguarding our nation’s borders from potential security threats while facilitating the flow of legitimate trade and travel.
- You will be responsible for enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws by conducting inspections of people, documents, and goods.
- Your duties may include making determinations on admissibility of individuals into the United States based on their eligibility under various laws.
- You must stay alert to signs of human trafficking or smuggling activities at all times during your workday!
The working environment varies depending upon duty station location. You can expect varying degrees ranging from moderate-to-high stress levels within every shift. Locations range from urban centers like San Francisco CA; Washington D.C.; Chicago IL etc., to rural areas such Beecher Falls VT; Oroville WA,Grad Portage MN.（You have multiple options so pick wisely!!!:)）
