This position plays a critical role in the U.S. Border Patrol's Federal Law Enforcement Officer profession.
- Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration laws
- Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens at borders to maintain national security
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required for this position. The ideal candidate should have the ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations while maintaining a focus on detail.
The selected individual will be responsible for detecting suspicious activity, questioning individuals under arrest or detention, and gathering evidence related to alleged offenses. Additionally, they must collaborate with other law enforcement agencies as needed.
